Character: Pepe`s a lifeloving small windmill -> a real whirlwind. Or a jumping rat -as my friend calls him. And my brother figures that Pepe might have ADHD. ;) Pepe feels that the world is made just for him and he loves natures small wonders and miracles. He jums and hops alot and every where and loves `kissing`.

Interest: Everything that he is able to see or sniff out trigeres Pepes interes. If he doesn`t immediately get the attention he want`s he demands it by jumping around and whining excessively. Nowadays he is able to (at times) muster up the strenght to settle and sit down until I give him the permission to `attack me`.

Obedience: He understands what the word `NO`means and quite often even obeys it. When out in the yard he doesn`t always listen. But with a little training (*cough* treats *cough*) he has learned to run back to me when called. Though Pepe isn`t motivated as strongly as Paddy with treats he does still quite often react to me using them in training.

Health: He`s a pretty healthy lill dog. Only when hes diet is suddenly changed does his stomach get upset but otherwise we`ve been lucky. A few couple of times we`ve been to get shots the vet`s said that she`ll hate to fix Pepes teeth soon -she always says `soon`. He`s teeth a pretty yellow so i`m trying everything to help his mouth be healthier. My only REAL worry is his eyes. They tend to water constantly and I`ve not found a remedy yet -I`ll try a few other dog foods and see if they will help prevent tears...

Affections: Pepe`s the most affectionate lill doggie ever! He loves licking peoples faces or actually ANY part of you that isn`t under clothing -sometimes even that doesn`t stop him :) He`s been around small kids (yrs 2-3 now and then so he knows how to act around them -somewhat anyways. So, he loves `kissing`. And when he `kisses you it`s not just a moist lill peck but rather a giant =SLURP= across your face! I dare you to go lie on the floor. In now time you`ll find Pepe over your face licking it clean. I dare you ;)

Guard dog: Oh he does bark. He also growls sometimes when playing with Paddy or when he`s a bit scared of something. He is aware of most everything happening around him and he hears all. In the winter he likes climbing on huge piles of snow and just standing there for a moment observing everything untill we can continue again. In the summer he loves climbing on rocks etc.

Sleeping habits: Pepe has a couple of regular sleeping places in the house. Usually he starts off by sleeping in my bed. he loves when I scratch behind his ears etc and he can slowly drift into sweet oblivion. When I wake up he loves to give me a wake-up-kiss/wash. So he jumps right beside my face and washes it clean.

Being alone: Oh my! Just hear that poor lill pup crying out after me! It usually stops after a few minutes but when I come back home he`s near impossible. Jumping and whining and his tails wagging at maximum speed and... "Where did you go? Why did you leave me all alone? I was ALL alone!"... So, he is able to be left alone for short periods but he simply isn`t used to it. Even though when I`m at work he`s not without company (like Paddy) he`s still pretty impossible when I get back home.

Play and games: He loves running after Paddy and wrestling and especially stealing from Paddy. Paddy`s si kind (talking about toys -NOT treats!) that he usually doesn`t make it into a big deal he simply whines and slaps Pepe with his paw. Pepe`s really protective of his treats; bunny ears and such. A hint for a dog owners who`s lost something: wait a week and then remove the item you lost from your dogs bed.

Pepes favorite toy would be the missis make-up sponge or lotion bottles etc but usually (luckily) they`re too high for him to reach. Otherwise he loves his plush-toys just fine. While outside he chews on sticks and pine cones and loves running after them!
